Meet Mr. Diener

Hi, my name is Keaton Diener and I will be one of the choir teachers at East and West Middle School! My wife and I live in Carmel, Indiana with our puppy Nala. Even though we live in Carmel, we both work for the Brownsburg Community School Corporation. I have recently graduated from Anderson University with a focus on middle school choir. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and playing pickleball and volleyball. I am looking forward to working with your students and becoming apart of the Brownsburg Community!

Meet Mrs. Fowler

Mrs. Fowler is excited about her 9th year with Brownsburg's middle school choirs.   Before joining the choral staff, she worked in BCSC for five years as an elementary music teacher, a private voice/piano teacher, arranger and accompanist. Mrs. Fowler has also served as a conductor with the Indianapolis Children's Choir. Mrs. Fowler loves the opportunity to invest in her students and build their confidence.  Her classroom is a safe place filled with laughter, growth, and teamwork.

When not at school, Mrs. Fowler enjoys spending time with her family, bicycling, reading, playing keys for her church, and composing.  (You can check our her latest album, Midnight Prayers, on all streaming platforms.) She also enjoys encouraging other choir teachers through her Choir Is Family platform.  She and her husband live in Brownsburg.

Meet Mrs. Isaacs

Mrs. Isaacs is the Instructional Aide for our middle school choir program.  She works with students in both schools, supporting students and teachers.  She brings incredible wisdom to our 8th grade musical adventures!  She is originally from Trenton, Michigan. After marrying her husband, she moved to Indiana 32 years ago and has lived in Brownsburg for 25 of those years! She utilizes her degree in theatre and speech education by being actively involved in Brownsburg's middle school and high school musical productions as well as a variety of community theatre productions. When Kelly isn't at school, she enjoys being with her fun and talented family, traveling, reading, and discovering new recipes to try. She has also created a one-woman drama ministry where she portrays different women of faith that has taken her all over the U.S. She has loved working with Brownsburg's middle school choir for the last five years and can’t wait for her sixth!

Meet Ms. Pena

Ms. Allison Pena is originally from Greenwood and is a recent graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a degree in Music Education and an Honors Distinction from the Ron and Laura Strain Honors College. Throughout her collegiate career, she participated in many ensembles, an opera, and several vocal masterclasses across the United States.  She has spent the past three summers as the Music Director at Roncalli High School’s Junior Royal Theater Camp. Ms. Pena is excited to begin her career at Brownsburg East Middle School and is elated to know each student who comes through her door! She has a strong desire to encourage young singers to find their “singing” voices, but also their individual voices through life. Her classroom is a safe space for every student and is a place to cultivate creativity, teamwork, laugher, and strong personal development. When not at school, Ms. Pena enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being outside- especially kayaking and hiking, and traveling.
